Discussion about free legal assistance in Syunik region

On June 14, 2016 a round table discussion took place in the Rights Information Center NGO about Free Legal Assistance Issues in the Syunik region. The debate were attended by attorney Gagik Babayan, Goris Garrison Military Prosecutor Sergei Khachatryan, representatives from Goris Press Club, "Sharavigh" Journalists Club. The main topic of the discussion were the issues of free legal assistance to conscripts that are investigated in general courts of Syunik region. Were also discussed some systemic problems in the public defense system in Syunik region. We plan to organize similar discussions, with the participation of public defenders, lawyers, experts and other professionals. The debates will be broadcast live.
